Chapter 9: Discovering The Mirror

“I can’t believe her,” Duncan spitted in anger, “she thinks that I’m the bad guy!” The delinquent said again, referring to his moment with Gwen that was filled with anger and had hot tempered words in it do to the fact that he still liked the Goth Girl and he hated the fact that he didn’t know that if she missed Courtney or not because of what had happened at the party after Gwen poured Green Tea on the now, possibly missing CIT whom the green-haired guy knew that he didn’t miss whatsoever.

“Well, you know what, I don’t care; she’ll come back to me and she knows it.”

Duncan went back to where he originally was located in before his argument with Gwen started. He took a glance at his wrist watch and saw that it read “1:00 AM,” which lead him to a groan; thanks to his encounters with Gwen, Bridgette, and to whoever he ticked off this night, the criminal didn’t stop to see what time it was, and now he was really tired and even felt a bit sleep deprived do to today’s events. However, he mostly blamed Bridgette because she was the only one that was actually worrying about Courtney, so she pretty much kept almost every one up do to her crying.

Speaking of the blonde surfer girl, Duncan saw her by Courtney’s trailer still sobbing her eyes out, making the cold-hearted punk rolled his eyes in disgust.

“Courtney please, I know you’re still here, I know.” Bridgette cried once more.

“You’re still crying about Courtney,” the delinquent asked her in rudeness, leading to the surfer to look at him in annoyance.  Duncan didn’t care though.

“Oh, don’t give me that look, just admit it so I can tell you to shut up and get over it.”

“Excuse me,” Bridgette barked, “at least unlike you, I still care about her.”

“Yeah, and like I care?” Duncan started to fight back, “I’m glad that Courtney cried and locked herself in her trailer, she deserved it and what Gwen did to her was awesome.” The skull shirt guy smiled deviously at the end.

“Oh, of course you would say that!”

“Why, because it’s true?”

“No, it’s because you’re a jerk! Duncan, you use to care about her.”

“Yeah, that was all before she turned into this psychotic gold-digger, manipulative woman who kicked me where the sun doesn’t shine one, too many times!” Screamed the Rebel.

Bridgette groaned, “How can anyone tolerate you with your uncaring and selfish behavior?”

Duncan shrugged off Bridgette’s comment. “Well either way, I am never returning to Courtney, ever!”
You know the drill.
